ANTIGUA
Antigua is served by daily flights from London Gatwick (weekly from Manchester) and also daily from the United States and Canada. Local airlines fly to and from most of the Caribbean islands.
Hummingbird House is a 30 minute taxi ride from VC Bird International Airport and about the same from Antigua’s capital St John’s. Car hire can be arranged and is available from the airport or from English Harbour. Taxis are plentiful. The house is ideally situated on a hill between Falmouth Bay and English Harbour. A 5 minute walk takes you to Pigeon Beach, to Falmouth Marina or to Nelson’s Dockyard. A 10 minute drive takes you to Galleon Beach, and Shirley Heights.
